Sanofi has decided to discontinue the Phase 1 first-in-human clinical trial of SAR448272, an oral STAT6 degrader, and terminate the program, Nurix Therapeutics announced.
Following the decision, Nurix does not expect to receive future development, regulatory, and commercial milestone payments or royalties associated with SAR448272. However, its rights to payments from other licensed programs under the Sanofi collaboration remain unchanged.
Nurix reported $1.1 billion in cash, cash equivalents, and marketable securities as of August 31, 2026, extending its cash runway into H2 2029. Its pipeline includes Phase 3 BTK degrader bexobrutideg (Roche), CBL-B inhibitor NX-1607, and IRAK4 degrader GS-6791/NX-0479 (Gilead).
