Our next phase of growth focuses on deepening technology adoption

How is MOVIN adapting its network and operating model to handle expanding volumes across India’s B2B express corridors? At MOVIN, we have engineered a precision-first express logistics model that moves beyond traditional infrastructure constraints. By synthesising UPS’s global logistics standards with InterGlobe’s deep domestic insight, we have established an extensive footprint PAN India. Our operations are built on day-definite and time-definite predictability across critical commercial corridors spread across all major Industries. We do not view physical footprint in isolation; our infrastructure is tightly integrated with its central data lake dynamic capacity planning. This allows us to deliver uninterrupted flow of goods across the country spanning from clients across diverse sectors—including IT peripherals, automotive, apparel, FMCG, pharmaceuticals and more. Which technologies are delivering the most tangible impact in managing complex express operations and contingency planning? Technology has fundamentally transformed how we manage express logistics, shifting operations from reactive surge handling into a digitally orchestrated, predictive ecosystem. MOVIN’s central Data Lake allow us to maintain always-on scalability and complete network visibility. Centralised 24/7 control towers and tracking platforms, Data analytics, empower our operational teams to actively monitor shipments, anticipate bottlenecks, and execute dynamic route optimisation whenever required. Furthermore, our AI-powered mobile application with Azure OCR integration accelerates first-mile accuracy by speeding up shipment creation at customer locations, while IoT-enabled tracking strengthens end-to-end traceability across both surface and air networks. What is the strategic objective behind launching MOVIN Healthcare, and how does it address sector-specific requirements? In healthcare and pharma logistics, our core philosophy is that we are not just moving a package; we are serving a patient. To address the critical needs of India’s $5.5–7.5 billion healthcare express market, we launched MOVIN Healthcare as a dedicated vertical catering to the pharmaceutical, medtech, diagnostics, and laboratory sectors across an initial rollout of 50 strategic markets. The offering features our flagship Next Flight Out (NFO) service for time-critical medical shipments, along with specialised end-to-end temperature-controlled packaging capable of sustaining Refrigerated (2°C to 8°C), Controlled Ambient (15°C to 25°C), and Dry Ice Frozen (-80°C to -20°C) conditions. Operations are securely monitored in real time by a dedicated 24/7 control tower, supported by priority handling, comprehensive carrier insurance, and a strict Quality Assurance framework incorporating proactive Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA). How does MOVIN ensure service quality and operational standards keep pace with rapid expansion? Our core operating strategy rests on four foundational pillars: People, Partners, Technology, and Excellence. Advanced infrastructure and technology are only as effective as the workforce behind them, which is why we place immense focus on continuous talent development and tech enablement. Through specialised Learning Management System (LMS) platforms, On-the-Job Training (OJTs), apprenticeships, and soft skill enhancement programs, we ensure our frontline teams, customer service representatives, and logistics partners possess practical experience and up-to-date industry capabilities. This people-first, performance-driven culture ensures that our teams take ownership on the ground, maintain strict operational compliance, and deliver superior customer satisfaction as we scale. Looking forward, how is MOVIN positioning itself to support India’s $5 trillion economic vision and MSME growth? India’s journey toward becoming a $5 trillion economy depends heavily on a resilient, technology-led supply chain ecosystem aligned with national initiatives like the National Logistics Policy. MOVIN’s focus is on building a stronger, more connected and more responsive B2B logistics network that enables businesses to move goods with greater speed, visibility and predictability. We are continuing to strengthen our presence across key business markets, expand connectivity and enhance our technology capabilities so that customers can serve their markets more efficiently. At MOVIN, our next phase of growth focuses on deepening technology adoption, expanding into strategic sectors like healthcare, and empowering MSMEs by giving them access to reliable, nationwide express logistics to scale beyond regional boundaries. Through our partnership with UPS, we are also facilitating seamless cross-border trade opportunities for domestic businesses. By advancing API-driven digital connectivity, upgrading connectivity across Tier 2 and Tier 3 gateways, and expanding sustainability commitments like EV deployments in major metros, MOVIN is establishing the structural resilience needed to power India’s accelerating economy. What are the biggest challenges you face when delivering sensitive medicines and healthcare products safely across India? At MOVIN, we believe the biggest challenge in healthcare logistics is not simply moving a sensitive shipment from one point to another but protecting its integrity throughout the entire journey. India’s diverse geography, varying climatic conditions and time-sensitive healthcare requirements make temperature control, speed and consistency critical. For products such as vaccines, diagnostics, and MedTech equipment, even a small delay or temperature excursion can have significant consequences. Ensuring end-to-end visibility, maintaining the right handling conditions, and preserving an unbroken chain of custody across the network are therefore key priorities. Through MOVIN Healthcare, we address these challenges with specialised healthcare logistics capabilities, including temperature-controlled packaging, defined handling processes, real-time shipment visibility, and quality assurance protocols. Our Next Flight Out (NFO) service is designed for highly time-critical healthcare shipments, supported by a 99.5% service-level guarantee. Ultimately, our focus is to give healthcare customers the confidence that their critical products will reach the destination safely, securely and on time. What specific solutions and technologies, such as temperature tracking and IoT sensors, are you using to protect and monitor pharma shipments? At MOVIN Healthcare, we have built our approach around visibility, control, and quality at every stage of the shipment journey. For sensitive healthcare products, including vaccines, diagnostics, and MedTech products, we use temperature-controlled packaging solutions designed to maintain the required temperature conditions during transit. Our healthcare logistics framework combines shipment tracking, temperature monitoring, defined handling protocols, and chain-of-custody controls to provide greater visibility and accountability. This is particularly important for time- and temperature-sensitive shipments, where knowing the location of a shipment is only one part of the equation, we also need confidence that it is being handled under the right conditions throughout its journey. For highly time-critical shipments, our Next Flight Out (NFO) service provides priority movement with real-time tracking and a 99.5 per cent service-level guarantee. We also have quality assurance processes, including CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action), to identify issues, address root causes and continuously strengthen our processes. At MOVIN, our objective is to bring together technology, specialised packaging, process controls, and operational expertise so that our customers have greater confidence that critical healthcare shipments are protected from origin to destination. sanjiv.das@expressindia.com sanjivdas1@gmail.com The post Our next phase of growth focuses on deepening technology adoption appeared first on Express Pharma.
